Auburn Township, Ohio - Of all the possibilities to experience the eclipse, I chose to go home. I went not to my house but to the calm waters and woods which formed me. The noise from the highway ceased, the spring peepers rose in dissonant song, and the spirit hovered above the waters. I felt beyond feeling, I became aware. The light illumines, the eye sees all, and it comes from within.
